Aquaman, Volume 2: The Others by Geoff Johns

4.0

I was so close to giving this 5 stars, but that ending was terrible.
Spoiler He should've killed Black Manta, and no argument from anyone would make me change my mind.

It's true that most people hate or neglect Aquaman as a superhero. He's most probably not your favorite, and I'll be honest and say that he's not my favorite too, and he may/will never be. His story is very interesting and different yes, but not as mind-boggling as the others. He's someone I would read and watch about, but never will I proudly say that he's my favorite of them all.

This volume is a huge improvement from the first one, but like I said, the ending really ruined the whole thing. I was starting to have a different perspective of Aquaman, but after that ending, I'm back to thinking of him as just okay. Such a shame cause this volume's really action packed, and the story's actually really getting better. Can't wait to read the next 3 volumes (currently released) and see if I'll be giving at least one of those a 5-star rating. Highly recommended, Geoff Johns is my favorite comic book writer ever. Almost everything I've read by Geoff Johns received 4-5 stars, mostly 5.
