Afternoon Tea at the Sunflower Café by Milly Johnson

4.0

It took me ages to get around to reading this as the size put me off, but I thoroughly enjoyed it once I started. I couldn't understand why a chic-lit needed over 500 pages, I thought it would have a needlessly up and down romance, but I was wrong; instead there was great plot that really had you rooting for the characters. I also don't usually like it when you switch perspectives in a book, and again this book surprised me as it was so smoothly done giving you glimpses of side plots and the main plot from different view points.

Over all I'm really glad I finally read this book after owning it for nearly 5 years.
