Penguin Island by Anatole France

2.0

I think if I knew more about French History, I would have enjoyed this book more. However, there were two entertaining portions of this book. The first was the debate in heaven, following the accidental baptism of the penguins. The second was the elaborate satire of the Dreyfuss Affair, another incident I wish I knew more about.

These two episodes in the novel were great. The rest, just so-so.
