I absolutely loved Dead Until Dark! I normally don’t go for vampire books, but since I was a fan of True Blood (the show based on this series), I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did. The book completely pulled me in. The small-town setting, the mystery, the supernatural elements—it all just worked.

I especially loved Sookie—she’s just so charming and relatable. I couldn’t get enough of her voice and her perspective. And Bill? I’m a fan. He’s so polite, sweet, and mysterious. I’m really hoping the next books go even deeper into his character.

Even knowing some of the plot from the show didn’t take away from the experience. The characters were just as compelling on the page, and the writing was so easy to get lost in. I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series.

Highly recommend this one—even if you’re usually not into vampires. It’s fun, suspenseful, and completely addictive.
