How Far the Light Reaches: A Life in Ten Sea Creatures by Sabrina Imbler

informative reflective medium-paced

3.25

A collection of short pieces that fuses the stories of 10 sea creatures with the author's own life, their identity, sexuality, race, family. I don't often read memoirs and I don't share a lot of the experiences Sabrina Imbler has gone through, so the science part really helped to act as a bridge. I enjoyed the earlier chapters more than the latter ones. Listened to the audiobook which Imbler themself narrated, it was very good.
