Confess by A. Zavarelli

2.0

I usually enjoy the dark side of a Zavarelli book. But this one was a tad bit ridiculous. I could get on board with the beginning of the book where the male MC forces the female MC into marriage so that he could help her. But then it just kind of devolved from there and I was shaking my head, rolling my eyes.

description

The last half of the book seemed unnecessary. Just extended the torture and my constant eye roll. I assume the female MCs sister Birdie will be next up, and since I didn't like her spoilt bratty persona, I'll most likely give it a skip. But if Father Cristina Hawk gets a book, I'll be on it like white on rice.
