I liked it enough, but thought the ending was too abrupt for me to form a clear opinion of the story. I will be reading the next book soon, I can guarantee. I have a few suspicions about a couple of the characters and the backstory, but I'll have to wait and see if I'm right. The illustrations were interesting, very colorful, and also odd, which I can give more credit for.
