I enjoyed this a lot. I felt the AI partner was more of a novelty in the first novel and maybe we had too much of DCS Frank's feeling of loneliness in the beginning. But the novel picks up pace and the ending of the investigation is very dramatic.
The AI and the human police officers complememt each other, there are things each can do that the other can't. Humans have olefactory senses and gut instincts, whereas the AI can analyse masses of data like a victim or suspect's social media presence very quickly.
