I picked up this book on a whim! Just trying to have a cute little romance to give me a break from thrillers but I was pleasantly surprised that this was not another cutsy romance. At first I was a little hesitant when I started reading given that one of the main characters was a mom. No offense to moms but by not being one I always find it a little hard to connect. With this book though the writing was down to earth and relatable! I loved that the other main character was more similar to myself so it really balanced out the "mom" talk for me. Overall I really connected to both characters and felt as though they could easily be my friends. The book hits on some major topics that I think a lot of people struggle with even if they are not a mom or an influencer. Also the plot twist or climax at the end was not what I expected! I loved that it was something that I did not see coming and something that was so perfectly tied in and even completed at the end. Most books make me upset because I feel as though the ending could have been written better but with this book I had no complaints! I for sure will be reading more from this author due to her down to earth writing!
