This book reminds me (almost on all points) of Just One of the Guys by Kristan Higgins. If you have read that story, you've read this one. Honestly.
Spoiler The H moves in with the h when they are teenagers, they hook up in college for one weekend only to have a brother come visit and put things in to perspective for the H, that if he and the h don't work he'll lose the family, so he says they need to end things.
She moves away from the family to get away from him and hasn't seen him in years. They reunite after years and eventually get together. Kristan Higgens does a better execution of this story. I felt like I was reading a water downed version of Kristan's book.

If you enjoyed this story, you will love Just One of the Guys.
