I had fallen into a rut of reading novels that I didn't believe in the main characters love! too soon too fast, just about sex. this novel was completely different! i'll admit though, the prologue had me iffy, not sure if i'd like it but I kept reading and I'm so glad!
the dynamic between Flint and his assistant, Amanda, reminded very much of Harvey and Donna from suits!
Flint and Ellen, actually got to know each other and even though this was classified as a Romance I was expecting detailed, VERY detailed sex scenes but was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed Jewel's scenes!
there's an unexpected character who worms their way into your heart! this novel was just precious.
