Saving Noah by Lucinda Berry

5.0

Wow.

I don’t even know where to start.

This was definitely a heavy read, check the trigger warnings.

This story is based on an extremely taboo topic, but the majority of the book is from the mother’s POV, which absolutely breaks your heart and makes you question what you would do if you were in her shoes, how far would you go to help your child?

I appreciate the fact that Lucinda Berry is a clinical psychologist, it adds a whole other level to the topics being discussed.

I wouldn’t characterize this as a thriller, per se, it reads almost like a nonfiction/memoir, but it has so much to offer in terms of educating the reader.

There was however a huge twist that I was not expecting, my jaw literally DROPPED, and the fact that I literally was not expecting anything like it, just further shows that Lucinda Berry knows how to write a good book.

This is my second of hers I have read, I was not disappointed, and will absolutely be adding the rest of her works to my collection.
