This is a simple story. The plot was barely there, and I wouldn't necessarily call it a romance. This short story just shows the length a mom would go to take care of her child. She seen the opportunity, thought about it and went for it. Nothing in this plot line was surprising. Michael Eliot could have included more conflict with Oz's father when he was a whistleblower and with Faris when she found out the truth about her impersonating an employee. It ended happily, which was cute, but there could have been more. I do think Keith Powers, Coco Jones and Queen Latifa saved this audiobook along with the additional background noises that gave a pictureless movie vibe.
