Forgotten Desires has been my favourite Corinne Michaels book for a long time. Until this book arrived, which is now firmly at the top of my list.
Against All Odds has once again proven Corinne's talent to craft timeless characters, poignant narratives, and magnetic chemistry that amplify the emotional beats. I have always regarded Corinne as a storytelling masterclass.
One aspect of Everett's character that I have admired is his perseverance, patience, and capacity to help Violet conquer her fears and rediscover her inner strength. Violet, on the other hand, provides Everett with balance and calm in his chaotic and stressful life because of her kindness and support. The fact that their love remains despite years of missing each other makes it less complicated for them to reconnect. In summary, they have always been meant to be together.
Against All Odds is a story that has its intended effect on fans of heartfelt romances. It gets hearts racing, eyes teary, and smiles abound. Thanks to its emotional yet spellbinding premise, witty banter, and the electrifying and amazing chemistry between Everett and Violet, this book reminds us of the beauty of love and second chances.
