I really liked Extreme Ownership. I love military stuff (from afar) - the training, the intensity, the leadership. The leadership lessons the authors shared were put forward in very clear language with examples from missions and the business world. Nothing new, but I like the packaging. There's a bit of repetition, but it was a gripping thing to listen to.

“Our freedom to operate and maneuver had increased substantially through disciplined procedures. Discipline equals freedom.”

“When setting expectations, no matter what has been said or written, if substandard performance is accepted and no one is held accountable—if there are no consequences—that poor performance becomes the new standard.”
