i grew up reading Judy Blume so when my little sister (12yr) told me she was reading this book, I decided to read it too so we could have a "book club".
The bullying in this book is unreal. Yes, from a different time and place, but wow. This book is definitely not for everyone and I would really only recommend it to help have conversations around bullying or as a read aloud option so you can talk about some of the situations in the book as you are reading them.
