Wang’s collection of personal essays covers a variety of topics related to schizophrenia and reveals pieces of her own experience in each. I found each essay a little unfocused and the collection as a whole to lack cohesiveness or flow. However, I think she has a really interesting story to tell and would love to read a whole memoir on just her own experience, her diagnoses, the evolution of her illness leading to where she is now, as a person living day to day with a schizoaffective disorder diagnosis.
