The Shadowhunter's Codex by Joshua Lewis, Cassandra Clare
5.0

5 stars.
Despite the fact that any person who likes the “Shadowhunter” saga should like this book; it’s actually pretty good on its own.
“The Shadowhunter’s Codex” describes almost every aspect on the life of a shadowhunter and I would say it’s pretty accurate (according to the facts on “The Mortal Instruments” and “The Infernal Devices”). However, there are some things that I personally knew or wanted to know that weren’t in this book (for example those related to “The Dark Artifices” books) because of the time the book was published.
All in all, it was very educational and entertaining to read. And even in the parts when anyone could get bored, there where the comments of Clary, Jace and Simon that make the whole experience better (and so funny). I loved to learn more about the world of the shadowhunters that I already felt connected to and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the saga so far.
