Frostbound by Sharon Ashwood

There was a lot of backstory in the beginning on both Talia and Lore. After about 150 pages, thats when the action shook me like a dog, and did not stop. Talia a newly turned vampire, comes home to find her roommate brutally murdered. Lore is an alpha hellhound living in the same building who stumbles on to Talia after the murder. Lore is not sure of Talia's innocents, so begins the investigation into who is after Talia. I love the world of the Dark Forgotten series with it's vampires, hellhounds, demons, all mixing with the humans. I enjoyed the build up of romance between Lore and Talia. Lore is so tender towards Talia and Talia deserves a huge protective hellhound by her side. Once this story got going, I couldn't put it down.
