I finished this one this morning with tears in my eyes.
Followed by more tears after remembering that it’s a true story.
I understand now why this book is regarded as a Christian classic. I think every believer would benefit from reading it. It’s a powerful testimony of the nearness and goodness of God in the midst of suffering. But more than that, I found it to be an incredible reminder of the life of love and forgiveness we are called to as believers.
I look forward to meeting Corrie Ten Boom one day.
