I ate this up in less than a day. I was hooked right away. I fell in love HARD with Hunter and Rush. I really loved the ADHD rep in this story that is super relatable and so well done. The way it's written made me feel like I was in Rush's shoes. The relationship development between Rush and Hunter felt real and organic. Despite the actual timeline, it didn't feel too fast. They created trust and grew from there. And, of course, I absolutely loved seeing the Big-Boned Bertha family again. I love a good found family trope, and Saxon James does it so well. I look forward to Madden's story. We get to see more of him in this book, and it was so sweet how he was there for Rush. I really liked the patience most of the characters have with Rush and his "sparkly brain." Everyone functions differently, and this story really embraced that as the norm. There is just something cozy about all of Saxon James' books that always makes me feel at home when I read them. This series has quickly become my favorite of her solo work. I had such a great time reading this.

Thank you, Saxon James, for such an amazing reading experience!
