Overall I found that this book did not live up to my expectations. I found the book to have quite a slow start and the only thing keeping me reading is that I wanted to finish it due to hearing such good reviews about it. One of the reason why I did not enjoy this book as much as I hoped is because I could not get emotionally invested in either Rowan, Zahra or their relationship.
Overall I found that I had to force myself to finish reading this book, I've heard that the second book in the series is better than this one so I may give that one a try at some point in the future.
