Good for a Girl: A Woman Running in a Man's World
by Lauren Fleshman
As someone who has been a runner off and on as an adult, this book really resonated with me. I’d wanted to be a runner as a teen, but PE coaches laughed and reminded me that I wasn’t built to be a runner. I’ve been taking a break from running because I had lost my love for the sport, getting caught up in meeting pace requirements for races and falling short of my goals. This book reminded me that all I need to be a runner is to run.
