This is definitely my least favorite of Ruth Ware's books (of the ones I've read so far, at least). It was still pretty good, but I never really got... thrilled? Suspenseful? I'm not sure how to describe it-- I never really got creeped out, except for a small 50-ish page span. While I was interested and invested in the story, it didn't keep me on the edge of my seat like her others have.
Also, it had such a slow start. The first 100 or so pages were very slow and really just setting the scene for the reader. I get why it was needed, but it was kind of a slog to get through. It was just very mundane set-up, though it did pay off in the end.
