Whilst at times I found the switching point of views hard to follow because of how large the time jump was, as I became more invested in the story it started to make more sense as I could piece it all together. For the same reason, the beginning of the book was harder to read and get into. It was definitely a very intriguing storyline, I loved the contrast between the two huge historical events in both lifetimes, World War II and 9/11. It was a great way to highlight the impact of both and how this one girl in the middle had a connection to all of it. I enjoyed this book much more once I became invested in the storyline, was a well written, educational and very real novel.
