Not for me. You're introduced to the main character who is a half-blood supernatural girl. You're also almost immediately introduced to a famous celebrity you saw on a tv show called Hitched who is, surprise, your half sister! She also happens to be a typical Mary Sue where everyone who is hot and interesting happens to have fought over her in the previous series.
And then, surprise #2, the new love interest was also one of the FMC's sister's many possible love interests from the last series which is giving yeehaw partner we all share relations here. So yeah... Just a bit awkward and a little too out there for me.
I also found it a little too childish for YA personally in terms of how the story unfolded and some of the word choices used. The writing was a bit difficult for me to stay interested in.
I am not the target audience and this is not my thing so I will have to pass on continuing this.
