The pacing in the first part was kind of slow (and it coincided with me starting my work week) but sometimes books just have to layout all the MCs for you. Definitely picked up in the last half (3/4s ish) and was really enjoyable. It was almost too much for me toward the end because a lot happened. Had to go back and reread certain sections to make sure I wasn’t missing something. Otherwise I would recommend there are some changes in how text is presented at points (for example used screenplay/theater play for dialogue) which I think fits but might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
The book kind of reminded me of the Supernatural/Scooby Doo crossover when the gang finds out not every mystery is a person in a mask.
Maybe not really spoiler but just my two cents below.
read a comment where someone said they read the Andy/Kerri relationship as predatory. Maybe I have bad reading comprehension but I did not get that at all. I thought their friendship and MAYBE more (later) was really well done.
