Abolish Rent by Leonardo Vilchis, Tracy Rosenthal

4.0

A very informative guide/manifesto with real stories of struggling for power. This book doesn't promise to have all the answers, or always bring about victory but definitely shows us what we as tenants can do to push forward and make a difference in our lives and the lives of our neighbours. It was interesting to note the evidence on how laws and general "rights" are stacked against tenants, both those with and without homes, and how landlords permeate the political realm. Definitely a good first book to get into if you're just starting to learn about the tenant struggle.
