I wasn’t that fond of the first book, but when I went into the TV show blind (cause I forgot the plot), my jaw was on the floor at that revelation. So here we are now.

And I won’t lie, I enjoyed this story. I’m glad that we got Carrie’s perspective and backstory since she was the most interesting mom in the show to me. Admittedly, I was invested in the core family dynamic (the girls, their parents). I think seeing them deal with their secrets on top of Carrie’s drug addiction and Rosemary would’ve been so cool on its own.
