amandafarag 's review for:
The Pilgrim's Regress
by C.S. Lewis
Fantasy is not my usual cup of tea, but the philosophical aspect of this book intrigued me.Ultimately, I did enjoy the thought-provoking aspects of this work, but it was not the most insightful analyzation of religion I have read so I would probably rate it a 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
I should also note that there were some overt racial symbolism, specifically in the beginning of the book, which could be seen as offensive (the book was published in 1933).
