Apart from the first few chapters and a little bit at the end, I was honestly rather bored while reading this one. Memnoch just didn’t interest me very much, which pretty much damned any chance of me enjoying it since it's mainly about him. Lestat has an encounter with a human character I found interesting, which made the opening chapters engaging to read, but once the Devil showed up, I found myself zoning out quite a lot. Those opening chapters are the only reason this doesn't have less stars from me.
