You know when people who wrote m/m fanfic realized it was kind of gauche to kill off the female love interest in favor of their preferred ship, so they turn her into the team mom and the shipper on deck in lieu of actually caring about her or writing her in an interesting way. This book is like that except the female love interest is now in the throuple and third-wheeling her own relationship. Complete with an amateur writing style.
