I will happily admit that I have loved Kaylee's books since I first found Unexpected Reality years ago, but this book did not do it for me. The timeless older brothers best friend-best friends little sister trope is one I can get behind but it felt both rushed and to slow to build. The relationship seemed toxic at certain points.
The medical emergency followed by being told she's pregnant seems to be a super predictable way to end the book.
