Oh my heart!!! This story was so sweet, emotional, and will surely impact many readers. I loved Kelly’s last book but to love this one even more. The setting was atmospheric and so unique. I loved both the main characters, their differences and their similarities. Their path to love and understanding is vastly different but both felt incredibly realistic. I think there are a lot of queer individuals (and non queer individuals) that would be impacted by this story and the emotions both characters go through in terms of their sexuality and how they’ve been treated. My heart broke and swelled with love reading this story. I can absolutely see myself reading it again someday!

This made for a fantastic audiobook.
