I had a good time reading this speculative historical fiction. The prose was well written, blending the historical and speculative aspects very well. It really showed us what was going on instead of telling us how it went. The story was compelling while remaining realistic and was super entertaining. The characters felt super realistic and were super interesting and likeable. The interactions between characters as well as their personalities/traits/etc. felt natural, especially with the eccentric genius Nikola Tesla. It's not your typical historical fiction and I really did like and enjoy reading this book. I will most likely be acquiring a physical copy at some point to add to my physical library instead of borrowing a digital ebook from my library as I did like this one.
