Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe
Did not finish book. Stopped at 48%.
Note: I did not like this book, but gender non-conforming people, and any member of the LGBTQ+ community, are valid. A book like this should never be banned.
Now my review based on the first 50% of the book:
Hmmmm...
I think that, if a memoir/autobiography is not self-deprecating in a funny way, then it's not for me.
Reading about wearing trousers in graduation when all the other AFABs wore skirts, and about oh, how worried they are they will have to reject people all their lives because they might be aro-ace (and they are so certain so many people will fall for them, of course...)... BIG ROLLING EYES MOMENTS.
I read to have a nice time, and sometimes to learn something new. Neither of those things were happening with this book, so I'll just dnf it and read instead something that I enjoy more.
