Indigo Ridge is an Excellent opener to the Eden series! The main FMC Win, short for Winslow, is the small town’s new chief of police. The main MMC Griffenis a rancher who grew up in Quincy. The book title, holding another meaning which is entwined as part of the plot. For very different reasons Win nor Griffin are looking for love but find it with one another unexpectedly. Devney Perry balances romance suspense well with the other microtropes. Win’s past is complex but is a part of the plot. This five star read has the micro tropes of romance suspense, murder mystery, one night stand, small town, chief of police and rancher, and Grumpy and sunshine. This is a must read if romance suspense is a go to trope for a reader. Devney Perry’s brilliant writing makes this a book or audible is a can’t put down read!  Vanessa Edwin and Jason Clarke do a brilliant job narrating Devney Perry’s tale.
