No One Tells You This by Glynnis MacNicol

4.0

At first I thought this was probably a lovely book I was reading at the worst possible time. Could I care right now about vacations in Iceland and an actor dubbed 646 and navigating New York as a white lady at 40? Then she started writing about her mother and her relationship to her family during her mom’s decline and she grabbed me. Then I cared about all of it.
