I like that while this book is inundated with filthy smutty scene there are also very real, very serious topics undertaken through the eyes of the MMC. There are certainly several trigger warnings to heed, particularly related to cancer, death of a parent, and questioning connections to god. I thought the character development was deep and meaningful and I felt like the circumstances of Sean’s life really pushed him in ways that were difficult but strengthened him in a myriad of ways. I can just imagine Zenny and how devastatingly beautiful she is from the description of her physical and personality traits. The story arc is well-developed and there are no plot holes. The spice is spicin, even though some of it was outside the bounds of what I find intriguing.
