I know this is a classic but the many cases of incest and repetitiveness with people with the same names got old really quick. I know it is symbolic, but the fantastical many elements of magical realism aren’t enough to make up for the depravity of many of the family members. Made my stomach sick. . Would not recommend to anyone for sure.
