20th Century Ghosts by Joe Hill

3.0

This is why I don't normally read short story compilations, because some of them are incredible, and others, not so much. I especially loved the first and last stories and the one about the blue lady. There was a bug one I even liked a bit. I liked how many of the stories took turns I didn't see coming and really stuck in my head. But there were several that simply make any sense to me, like the one about the trees and the couple reunited at the filming of a George Romero movie. Others I liked, but their endings were left TOO open. And I guess I was expecting more horror and the book was more suspense.
