White Sand Volume 2 by Brandon Sanderson, Rik Hoskin

5.0

“Kenton: So you’re a spy, then?”

Damn, Kenton found that out quickly.

“One of the professors: Perhaps, perhaps not. It sounds like what they need, duchess is a skilled diplomat on their side.”

I think everyone in the cosmere needs one of these.

“The proposal which your associate present has merit,”

What an awkward sentence.

“Khriss: Can they control other objects made of sand or just sand? If it’s just sand, why?”

Just as curious as you are in Bands of Mourning.

Y’know in Way of Kings, going on a hunting party didn’t end so well.

So many assassins in this book!

“Baon: Duchess, when I was a young boy, Skathan looked like a man in his mid-twenties. He looked exactly the same when I left Iiaria. The histories say he is hundreds of years old, and I believe them.”

WAIT WHO’S THIS GUY??? A WORLD HOPPER?

“Khriss: I’m starting to realize that we call magic is more real than I gave it credit.”

Oh, honey, just wait.

OH MY GOD THEY CHANGED THE ART STYLE IN THE LAST CHAPTER AND IT’S SUPER JARRING. Why did they have to change the art style in the last chapter? Couldn’t they have at least finished the book?

“Kenton: What is your name, man?
Dude: Trell, sir.”

UMM! UMMM!!! UMMMMMMM!!!! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN????

“Khriss: I’M READY TO BECOME A SAND MASTER!”

Well, this should be interesting.
