Master of Crows by Grace Draven
3.0

If you want to call it 'fantasy', then it's not worth paying for. It has a very amateur, unpolished feel, more like it's a first novel written at 16 by a non-genius.

If you want to call it 'romance', then it's worth the price. There are no frequent grammatical errors to deter from reading, the story is coherent and the sex is handled adequately enough.

So thank you, Mrs. Draven for a relaxing read!

PS. The most grating thing about the whole book, is that people living in a desert/sandy prairie and growing oranges for a living would eat porridge and bacon for breakfast. No mention of oat fields or living pigs, though. Just goats and chickens. Anyway, bacon and porridge in middle-eastern fantasy land.
