A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
5.0
This is possibly the best YA mystery/thriller that I've ever read. I've always been drawn to mystery plots, but Young Adult always seems to fall short, even when I was in my teens. Usually, it's a one trick pony. Most YA follows the same formula, down to the plot twists. This book completely blew those out of the water. Jackson keeps adding more threads and info and suspects along the way, allowing the reader to give their best guess as she keeps you on your toes. As far as the details go, they're expertly woven together, and with all of the different plot lines, not one of them is dropped or forgotten. This book was so fantastic and I absolutely cannot wait to pick up the next one!
