The Vow by J.L. Beck, C. Hallman
5.0
I have been DYING for Seb’s story since we met him in Book 1 of the North Woods series, and I am not disappointed in the slightest.
First(and I have to get this out of the way), I was not prepared for the twist. Like at all. For me, it came a little out of nowhere. It wasn’t bad, just a little unexpected, but I guess maybe not as well, because the clues were all there, and I didn’t follow them like I should have.
Anyways.
“We’re a match made in heaven but forbidden as sin.”- if this isn’t the tag line for this book, it absolutely should be, because it describes this couple beautifully.
My absolute swoon moment?
“You’re the sun, and the moon, you’re the gd stars in my galaxy. You’re happiness and sadness. You’re perfection and chaos. You’re mine.”- I melted into this whole pile of goo, right here. Who doesn’t want a man to think something like this about them, never mind to verbalize it. (Also, edited because I’d like my review to be seen)
Recommend. This duo has not let me down yet, and they keep giving me more goodness to squeal over.
