Don't You Cry by Cass Green
3.0

Compared to other Cass Green novels I’ve read this one isn’t nearly as good. That said, I read it in one sitting which must account for something.

Perhaps a little predictable at times, this novel doesn’t really leave you particularly desperate to know what happens next until roughly 75 pages before the end. Although, it’s well written and a very easy read, probably best suited to someone who doesn’t often read. The ending saves the books from my originally questionable opinion, although still slightly predictable it’s really well thought out.

The apparent research into making the storyline believable and realistic is also a credit to the author.

Loved the acknowledgements with the domestic violence freephone. Always great to raise awareness and the number handy for someone who may need it!
