The 13th Gift: A True Story of a Christmas Miracle by Joanne Huist Smith

2.0

Audio. Read for book club. I usually like it when an author reads her own work, but this author was a bit dry. It took an effort to keep up with the sad, angry, depressing, alienating, grieving part of the book, which I felt lasted too long - but at the same time, I certainly understand that this part is realistic. I just didn't want to dwell there. The best part for me was the very end when the author explains who was giving the gifts and why.
