Everywhere You Look by Emily Shacklette
emotional
5.0
This is my first book by Emily but I will definitely be going back for more. This book was equal parts heartbreaking and heartwarming. I laughed and I cried.
Luke & Dean are so freaking cute yet so damn oblivious. The move from best friends to bro husbands to real husbands felt so natural and was so beautiful to witness.
Dean is so freaking sweet. Actually, his whole family is. The way they stepped up for Luke and the girls melted me. There are so many lovable side characters and the girls are adorable. Watching them interact with Dean & Luke was too cute.
It's a slow burn but full of tension whilst they both pretend they aren't attracted to each other. They were made to be a family and have great chemistry. It was everything when they finally admit it to each other.
It covers some tough topics (so check tw) but it is written sensitively. The way it dealt with grief felt real and had me emotional.
I read an arc
