My heart breaks into little tiny pieces thinking about What Shari and the rest of her siblings had to go through. There will never be enough words in the English language to every describe the amount of pain and remorse you feel reading the words Shari has put on paper. Her memoir is a tragic reality that we all will never truly understand and one that is so beautiful well written. The only thing that for me prevents it from getting 5/5 stars is the fact very excessive use of metaphors and similes. Other than that the pace in which Shari has written the book and her descriptions of her very intense emotions and feelings is extraordinary.
