If you are a Shane and Ryan from “Ghost Files” fan and a Scully and Mulder from X-Files fan, boy you will love the two main characters because they are both duos wrapped up into one. I will say this book is definitely early 2010s YouTuber core, but I don’t care because I loved the premise that was filled with cryptid hunting. I think some points during the conflict and inner monologuing could have used some work (a lot of repeating phrases going on), but overall a fun read. Spice level I would say is a 4/10. Some explicit scenes but not very graphic.
Graphic: Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Misogyny, Sexism, Sexual content, Toxic relationship, Gaslighting
Moderate: Death of parent
Minor: Body shaming, Chronic illness
